How many matches will I get at accredited junior tournaments?
At US Squash accredited junior tournaments and National Championships, all players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches per tournament. The only exceptions to this rule is in the case of draw sizes of 13, 17, and 25 where one player will only have 2 matches. These draw sizes result in a situation where one player ends up in a plate draw by himself or herself and therefore does not have an opponent for his or her third match.
At accredited adult tournaments, US Squash recommends using a draw structure that guarantees a minimum of two matches per player. However, the tournament directors of adult tournaments have the discretion to choose how many matches they wish to offer and schedule.
