Are there any discounts available for US Squash membership or tournament participation for non-SEA players?
US Squash provides some financial assistance to players wishing to participate in certain US Squash programs. In an effort to be consistent, fair and accountable, US Squash asks that you make a written request (which may be via email to office@ussquash.com) for the waiver of participation fees. As a guideline for this waiver, we use household income requirements for the Federal Free and Reduced Meal Assistance Program*.
In the written request, please include the following:
- Date
- Name of Parent/Guardian making request
- Contact Phone Number
- Contact Email Address
- Player’s Name
- Does your family qualify for the Free Lunch program?
- Does your family qualify for the Reduced Lunch program?
- Reason for Request
*Students are entitled to free lunches if their families’ incomes are below 130 percent of the annual income poverty level guideline established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and updated annually by the Census Bureau. Children who are members of households receiving food stamp benefits or cash assistance through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families block grant, as well as homeless, runaway, and migrant children, also qualify.
